Is there a one time payment option to remove ads?
Or is sync ultra the only way to remove ads?
I would love to support sync, but the subscription fatigue is real.

Cancel all your other subscriptions other than sync. Because it’s the only one worth. 17 dollars a year ain’t much imo
It’s not localized pricing yet, which means it could be weeks worth of a wage in poorer countries. $17 american is a lot if you go to some SEA countries.
Here in Brazil its R$75, which I’d say is too much for an app, even one that I use daily
$17 = ¥127.5 RMB, thats roughly one full day of wage.
What other Lemmy apps have a subscription?
As a Sync Pro Reddit user, I was excited for the switch. I’m just sticking to Jerboa. It gets the job done. There isn’t enough content on here to justify spending money imo.
